Read OWLA's 2025-2026 Annual Report

OWLA is pleased to share its June 2025 to June 2026 Annual Report. This past year we have been very busy working toward our goals to preserve, protect, and restore Owasco Lake and its watershed. In addition to our many ongoing projects, we are focusing on achieving the priorities set by the Board of Directors in Fall 2024. To that end we are gearing up for the second round of treatments to lake-critical hemlock trees to protect against the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA).

We are also focusing on the projects to fund through the Joe Wasileski Memorial Program. And in February, four OWLA board members traveled to Albany to speak with legislative representatives as part of the Finger Lakes Advocacy Day hosted by the Finger Lakes Land Trust.

We are grateful for your continued support and volunteer efforts.
