Owasco Flats Conservation and Education Center plans are being developed.  This will be an exciting format for preserving the integrity of the Owasco Inlet watershed.

Continued Coliform and CSLAP water testing programs are being conducted by OWL volunteers on a weekly basis.

Planning and sponsorship of several projects to control erosion and agricultural runoff by the use of grass filter strips, filter beds, and holding ponds is currently in progress.  OWL volunteers are involved in all aspects of these endeavors.

Work with local government to develop sound land use planning to preserve Owasco Lake for future generations is being implemented due to OWL volunteer efforts resulting in involvement of planning boards of all townships surrounding the lake.

Continued advocacy of Water Quality issues concerning Owasco Lake at all levels of government including input from volunteer water quality management areas such as Seneca Lake, Canandaigua Lake, Lake George and Cross Lake groups.
